Right the owner, Khun Lek, is being arrested for buying scarred elephants and the police thinks she has stolen them from the wild, but she hasn’t. She has proof: she all the right paper work and birth certificates. The police is planning to take away 8 elephant 5 of which are babies of 2 years old. Lek has sent DNAs to prove she was born into her care but the police have ignored it, they want birth certificates although elephant receive birth certificates when the age of 8. Now the police is giving Lek 15 days. Lek is doing everything she can but what she’s worrying that maybe when she is arrested the police will take her elephants from her. I am not joking about this!
